MODE D'EMPLOI

Installing the sealed male drink connector


This connector for the Extrem Drink hydration system replaces the original part located in the yellow connector on the driver's helmet.

  • Disassembly:
    Disassemble the Double Plug Drink Helmet connector - DPC-410 by removing the 3 assembly screws.
  • Replacement:
    Remove the used male connector, detach the flexible tubing, and install the new connector by inserting the connection hose onto the ribbed barb. For a total and secure seal, it is mandatory to secure the tube with a Rilsan-type cable tie.
  • Reassembly:
    Position the connector in its slot within the Double Plug Drink Car DPV 420, then close the two halves of the yellow connector using the 3 screws, taking care to properly position the radio connector if present.
  • Testing:
    Perform a connection and disconnection test with the female connector to validate the proper functioning of the mechanism, as well as the radio link for the double plug version.

Maintenance: Like any automotive equipment part, we recommend periodic cleaning by circulating clean water to flush out residues, thus ensuring a smooth connection session after session. For rally-raid, we also recommend regular cleaning with clean water to remove dust from the assembly.
