The Female Car Hydration Kit Coupling (RCF-540) is a core technical component of the Extrem Drink driver hydration system. Specifically designed to integrate perfectly into the yellow connection interface on the car or simulator side, it ensures automatic locking and optimal fluid flow when the driver is using the Extrem Drink system.

As an essential addition to the Extrem Drink Double Plug, this connector secures your beverage lines within the cockpit. It allows the driver or Driver Assist to perform quick connections or disconnections without any risk of leakage, ensuring maximum efficiency during endurance racing stints or professional simracing sessions.

More than just a spare part, this female connector is engineered for high-level automotive and simracing equipment. It meets the demanding requirements of fluid flow under extreme conditions, whether in rally-raid, circuit racing, or simracing. It integrates seamlessly with the Extrem Drink system's car double plug.

  • 1 x 1/4" flow female coupling, compatible with Extrem Drink large-diameter connection tubing, featuring an integrated automatic locking system.

MODE D'EMPLOI

Installation and Maintenance of the Leak-proof Female Coupling

This leak-proof female drink coupling is a wear part. it is installed as a replacement for the original component located on the Extrem Drink assembly at the connector level.

  • Disassembly:
    Disassemble the DPV-420 Helmet Double Plug Drink connector by removing the 3 assembly screws.
  • Replacement:
    Remove the used female coupling and disconnect the flexible hose. Install the new coupling by inserting the connection hose onto the barbed fitting. For a total and secure seal, it is mandatory to secure the hose with a cable tie (Rilsan type).
  • Reassembly:
    Position the coupling into its slot within the DPV-420 Helmet Double Plug Drink, then close the yellow connector shells using the 3 screws. Ensure the radio connector is properly positioned if present.
  • Testing:
    Perform a connection and disconnection test with the male coupling to validate the correct operation of the mechanism. Also, check the radio link for the double plug version.

Maintenance: Like any automotive racing equipment, we recommend periodic cleaning by circulating clean water to flush out residues, ensuring a smooth connection session after session. For rally-raid use, we also recommend regular cleaning with clean water to remove dust and debris from the assembly.
