As a key component of the Extrem Drink system, the DPV-420 double plug stands out as an essential race car or simracing driver accessory to centralize your drink and radio connections. Mounted on the vehicle's roll cage or the simulator chassis, this base secures your cables and allows the driver to plug in their helmet instantly during driver swaps.

Manufactured from High-Density ABS via an industrial printing process (Stratasys), this accessory withstands intense vibrations and protects your hydration and radio connectors from leverage forces and premature wear. As an integral component of the complete Extrem Drink DSC 200 driver hydration kit, this rugged technical part easily handles severe vibration and the extreme conditions of rally-raids or 24-hour endurance races.

Specifically developed to optimize onboard flow management, the Extrem Drink DPV-420 double drink/radio plug simplifies connecting and disconnecting the crew (Extrem Drink hydration system and radio).

  • Material:
    Industrial-grade High-Density 3D printed ABS (Stratasys). The high-visibility yellow allows connection validation at a glance and reacts to UV lights during night stints.
  • Protection:
    Compact and lightweight anti-leverage design to safeguard your radio plugs and drink fittings.
  • Reliability:
    Solid mounting to roll cage or simulator, easy handling, and excellent visibility regardless of the environment.

Kit Includes:

  • 1 yellow double plug mount (cockpit-side, secured with 3 screws/nuts) to house the radio connector and drink fitting.
  • 1 female watertight Drink fitting and 2m flexible hose.
  • 1 heavy-duty hook-and-loop pad set (roll cage positioning aid and anti-rotation function).
  • (Note: radio cable not included)

Compatibility: Universal connectivity for the majority of radio connectors and quick fittings.

MODE D'EMPLOI

Installation and Optimization of Your DPV-420 Interface

  • Race Car Mounting:
    Position this component on the roll cage using two plastic cable ties (zip ties) or via the rear screw for non-roll-cage mounting if needed. A set of heavy-duty hook-and-loop pads is provided to ensure precise positioning and keep it firmly in place despite the high forces experienced by the car and driver.
  • Simulator Mounting:
    Install this driver drink accessory within easy reach on your simulator chassis to simplify driver setup (harnesses, connections) and minimize prep time before the start.
  • Assembly:
    The two half-shells easily enclose the drink and radio connectors to form a solid, protective unit. (Depending on the brand of radio connector used, minor trimming with a Dremel may be required). Place a Rilsan cable tie (zip tie) between the hose and the drink fitting to ensure a perfect hold.
    Assemble the two half-shells and tighten the three retaining screws.
  • Validation:
    Once installation is complete, it is essential to perform a full onboard test (drink flow and radio communication) while seated in the driving position to validate overall ergonomics before hitting the track. Also verify that the chosen mounting location meets everyone's expectations.
