DESCRIPTION

The essential thermal barrier for your hydration system in extreme conditions

This motorsport-adapted insulating sleeve is developed to protect the flow of beverages within the cockpit, between the Drink holder and the car Drink plug. Whether on track or in rally, it guarantees the temperature maintenance of your drink despite the vehicle's thermal radiation. Placed on the Extrem Drink system connection tube, this drink hose thermal protection prevents overheating of the driver's hydration liquid. A highly effective solution to maintain an ideal feeling of freshness for the driver and allow for increased performance in all situations.

Drink tube thermal protection for driver hydration system


This flexible insulating sleeve is perfectly adapted to the Drink connection tube. By preserving the freshness of water or any other beverage, it provides a very appreciable sensation for the driver in an overheated cockpit. This drink tube thermal protection is equally effective for beverages that must remain hot during winter use.

  • Safety standard: M1-rated fire protection (fire-retardant).
  • Dimensions: Length 2 meters - External diameter 26mm.
  • Thermal range: Guaranteed efficiency from -40° to +120°C.
  • Compatibility: Optimized for motorsport in extreme conditions.

In competition, heat sources are multiple. The use of this fire-retardant thermal sleeve is particularly recommended for endurance events and rally-raids where cockpit temperatures can reach significant levels.
Conversely, during events in the cold, drinking hot beverages can be beneficial.

MODE D'EMPLOI

Installation of the flexible Drink water insulating sleeve


It is important to cover as much of the connection tube's total length as possible with the insulating sleeve in order to limit temperature exchange with the drinking liquid.

  • Disconnect the connection hose from the Extrem Drink holder side,
  • Slide the sleeve over the transparent tube, then secure the assembly within the cockpit to prevent any movement,
  • Reconnect the hose to the bottle side (secure with a rilsan cable tie).

Tip:
Take advantage of the slight compression of the sleeve's foam to position a cable tie to lock the hose, then allow the foam to return to its original shape to cover the assembly.
