PRODUCT INFORMATION

Stainless steel fitting, to be welded onto the upper part of your kart's exhaust, at the regulatory distance from the entry.

The base of the fitting is calibrated in thickness to allow for slight grinding to match the radius of your exhaust pipe and facilitate welding.

Understand :
- 1 stainless steel union to be welded.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE

Grind the surface of your exhaust pipe where the weld connection will be positioned in order to have the metal bare (upper part of the tube in order to obtain the max T° reading).
Adjust the contact surfaces on the fitting side or make a slight flat on the exhaust tube with a hammer and a piece of the same diameter as the fitting.

Degrease the elements for perfect welding.

Weld the connection and only then drill the hole in the exhaust pipe,
Deburr the hole on the inside of the tube.

Protect the whole thing with high temperature paint.

Carefully mount the probe and tighten firmly, taking care to orient the rigid part of the probe cable.
