Easy to use and highly cost-effective, this system eliminates the need for expensive chain grease sprays and post-session cleaning products. This karting chain lubrication system also saves time and provides peace of mind, key factors in efficient kart management.

MODE D'EMPLOI

Quick installation on the chain guard

The DHC-950 Karting Chain Oiler Kit is designed for a fast and intuitive installation on your chain guard:

  • Positioning:
    Place the reservoir on the chain guard between the two sprockets, aligning the reservoir’s elbow fitting with the outer edge.
  • Mounting:
    Secure the reservoir using the 2 screws (Pro Tip: apply a dab of grease to the 2 threaded holes to mark the exact drilling locations on the guard).
  • Drilling:
    Identify the ideal spot near the engine sprocket, directly above the lower chain run, and drill a Ø6 mm hole.
  • Adjusting:
    Insert the elbow (small tube side) into the hole and secure it with the provided plastic zip tie. Adjust the length of the small tube so the oil droplet falls precisely onto the center of the chain.
  • Final Setup:
    Insert the long tube into the reservoir’s elbow fitting, adjusting its length as needed. Use an additional zip tie if necessary to secure the tubing.

    You are now ready to fill the system!

    Use a syringe to fill the reservoir to the brim with a high-tack (sticky) oil (e.g., chainsaw chain oil) without overflowing.
    Immediately screw the cap on by 2 turns to see the oil travel through the transparent tube and onto the chain.
    Lock the cap in place using the two anti-vibration Velcro strips.

    By using a high-tack oil well before your session, you prevent dust, sand, or dirt from sticking to your chain. Your chain kit will last longer, and engine friction is reduced.

    Whenever the chain needs lubrication, turn the reservoir cap by about 1 turn while rotating the rear wheel to distribute oil over all links and sprockets. Always re-secure the cap with the 2 Velcro strips.

    When the cap is screwed all the way down, the reservoir is empty and needs a refill.
