Fast Flow Refueling Jug for Newton Aero 400

Adding fuel for weighing or practice sessions on a prototype, NP02, GT, or any car equipped with a Newton Aero 400 fuel filler cap is a slow process when using a standard jerrycan.

Developed in collaboration with a partner racing team, we carefully analyzed the constraints of pit refueling to deliver a complete solution. Following extensive testing, the Extrem Motorsport BRR-710 fast-fill fuel jerrycan is proven to deliver an efficient, rapid, and reliable fueling experience.

Featuring large fluid channels, a custom dual-flow venting system, and ergonomic handling, simply align with the Newton Aero 400 filler cap, and 30 seconds* later, you've poured 20 liters of fuel.

    Thanks to the pour spout design—optimized specifically for Nova Proto and matched to the Newton Aero 400 filler cap—pressing the spout flush against the filler neck prevents fuel splashback or spills.

    The translucent, graduated container allows clear visualization when filling via a Japy-type pump, giving precise tracking of the fuel volume. Fully sealed and stable during storage, fuel can sit safely with zero fuel odors.

    Every component of this fuel jerrycan is engineered to withstand fuel exposure. Our after-sales service team provides maintenance support and gasket replacement seal kits as needed.

    The BRR-700 fast-fill jerrycan was optimized for the Nova Proto NP02. We can also custom-adapt the pour spout angle to fit your specific car geometry.

Technical Note: We restricted the flow rate to match NP02 cell constraints. However, the system can pour up to 20 liters of fuel in just 16 seconds—provided your fuel tank can accommodate high flow rates (anti-slosh baffle foam). Intermediate flow configurations are also available upon request.

Technical Specifications of the BRR-710 Fast Flow Fuel Refueling Jug


This fast-fill fuel jerrycan is specifically configured to couple with the Newton Aero 400 fuel filler cap. It is the ideal pit equipment to fully refuel a Nova Proto NP02 in record time (just 30 seconds), optimizing your garage preparation and weighing procedures.

  • Jerrycan Capacity:
    20-liter fuel capacity, ideal for practice session refueling and technical pit adjustments.
  • Materials:
    Pour spout and air vent manufactured from high-performance synthetic materials, ultra-durable and chemically stable against hydrocarbons. Fully sealed system utilizing high-grade, fuel-resistant Viton gaskets.
  • Ergonomics:
    Equipped with two robust handles for a firm, secure grip by the operator. The pour spout angle was specifically developed for Nova Proto architecture, guaranteeing precise operation with zero risk of fuel splashback or overflow.
  • Service & Maintenance
    Engineered to endure the demands of motorsport. To maintain absolute safety and prevent leaks, we recommend a preventive replacement of the Viton gaskets approximately every two years.

MODE D'EMPLOI

Refueling Instructions with the Fast Flow Refueling Jug

Simple to use, highly ergonomic, and efficient, this pit equipment secures and speeds up your refueling procedures. Follow these steps to optimize fuel transfer:

Jerrycan Preparation and Filling :

  • Verify that the air vent cap located on the base of the jerrycan is closed.
  • Unscrew the pour spout via its red nut to fill the jerrycan with 20 liters or a quick splash as needed.
  • Reinstall the pour spout, ensuring it is positioned perpendicular to the two handles.
  • Firmly tighten the red nut onto the jerrycan.

On-Vehicle Refueling Procedure

  • Remove the vehicle's Newton fuel cap and align with the filler neck to insert the jerrycan spout.
  • Open the top air vent and press down on the jerrycan to trigger fuel transfer through the spout.
  • Once empty, remove the spout from the Newton filler neck and close the air vent for safety and storage.
  • Secure the Newton Aero 400 cap upon completion.

    Optimization for Racing Teams
  • Repeat the process as necessary (may require multiple jerrycans).
  • Refueling can be alternated on either side using dual Newton filler caps to maintain continuous filling.

Tech Tip: Opening both fuel caps on the race car simultaneously drastically increases fuel absorption speed into the cell safety foam by relieving air backpressure.
