Fast Flow Refueling Jug for Newton Aero 400

Refueling for weighing or during practice on a prototype, an NP02, a GT, or any car equipped with the Newton Aero 400 filler cap takes a long time with a standard jug.

In cooperation with a partner Team, we studied the constraints of this refueling operation to ensure your complete satisfaction. Following numerous tests, it has been proven that the Extrem Motorsport BRR-700 fast flow refueling jug provides an efficient, quick, and reliable solution for fuel filling.

Thanks to the large fluid passages and a specific dual-flow air vent, as well as ergonomics designed for the job, you just need to aim for the Newton Aero 400 filler cap, and 30 seconds later, you have injected 20 liters of fuel.

Technical information: We have restricted the filling flow rate to meet the precise constraints of the NP02. We can deliver up to 20 liters of fuel in 16 seconds, provided your fuel cell can accept this high flow rate (anti-slosh foam). We can also configure an intermediate flow rate.

This fast flow fuel refueling jug is specifically configured to couple with the Newton Aero 400 filler cap. It stands as the ideal pit box equipment to complete a full refill of a Nova NP02 prototype in record time (just 30 seconds), optimizing your preparation and weighing phases.

Refueling Instructions with the Fast Flow Refueling Jug

Highly user-friendly, ergonomic, and efficient, using this pit box equipment allows you to secure and speed up your refueling procedures. Follow these steps to optimize fuel transfer:

Jug preparation and filling

  • Verify the closure of the air vent cap located on the bottom of the jug.
  • Unscrew the filling spout via its red nut to fill the jug to 20 liters or perform a quick "flash" as needed.
  • Put the filling spout back in place, ensuring that its alignment is perfectly perpendicular to the 2 handles.
  • Firmly tighten the red nut onto the jug.

Refueling procedure on the vehicle

  • Remove the vehicle's Newton filler cap and aim for the tank neck to insert the spout into it.
  • Open the air vent located on the top of the jug and press down to trigger the fuel transfer through the filling spout.
  • Once the jug is empty, extract it from the Newton filler neck, then close the jug's air vent for safety and storage reasons.

Optimization for teams

  • Repeat the operation as many times as necessary (this may require using multiple jugs depending on your needs).
  • Filling can be done alternately on each side of the Newton filler caps to seamlessly sequence the refills.

Technical tip: Simultaneously opening both of the race car's filler caps significantly improves the fuel absorption speed by the internal fuel cell foam (anti-slosh foam) by instantly venting air counter-pressure.
