Engine crankcase vent

The gear-filled casing needs a properly sized vent to prevent it from rotating. The original cap on ROTAX engines is somewhat restrictive in this regard.
Providing the air requirements within the gear housing, while providing compliance with the oil recovery requirement is the goal of this product, via a foam composite.
A deflector prevents the entry of water or foreign bodies.

The aerator weighs 15 grams
The kit comes with a cap for storing the kart (dust), placing it upright and cleaning it with plenty of water.
